This session features three photographic essays that consider the effects of climate change and/or human activity over time in the physical world. The presenters explore the ways in which the dual impacts of climate change and human behavior are increasingly altering the contours of our world, particularly in the US South. With distinctly different emphases and photographic styles, the presentations are united by their focus on recording, observing, and contemplating changes associated with real and lasting shifts in Southern landscapes, ecosystems, and environments.
