Cassandra King, the novelist and Pat Conroy’s wife, was the contributor to the Carolina Writers book, but one of my favorite images from the visit to their home has always been this photograph of Pat’s senior portrait from the Citadel. How in the world did no one notice the button? But, then, it fits.

The Carolina Writers photographs were presented in assorted vintage and reclaimed frames and hung to resemble groupings in a family room. While I have other unframed prints available, this is the original print from the exhibitions of this work and is, therefore, unique in its presentation.
